You are purchasing a custom dog portrait of one dog. I will be painting the "head shot" of a beloved dog.

About the Portraits
Each portrait is hand painted with acrylics on a birch wood panel cradled with solid wood frame which is 1 5/8" deep. These panels won't flex, stretch, or warp, and they'll last longer than a canvas.
Your painting is my interpretation of your dog, they are not meant to be photo realistic.
I Work from Photographs
A great painting starts with a great photograph.I want to create a really good painting for you & I can only do that from a good clear photo, where I can see your dogs face.
If you live outside the Vancouver, WA/ Portland OR area, I will be working from the photo you send me. I work from one primary photo to create your portrait. A great photo is one that you love, and is clear and well lit, so that I can see your dog's eyes & face. Eyes are the key to a great painting.
If you are local to the Vancouver, WA/Portland, OR area, I highly recommend a photo session, where I come & meet your dog & take photos for me to work from. Portrait price includes travel to your location up to 30 minute drive. A travel fee applies for sessions beyond 30 minutes.

How it works:
Purchase a custom portrait by choosing your portrait size in the pull down menu at the end of this listing.
Within 24 hours, I will contact you via email to discuss your custom portrait & to let you know where to send your photo.
When your portrait is complete, I will email you a scan of the painting.
Your portrait will be shipped fully insured via USPS.
